Bring your Cricuts, your Cuttlebugs or your Big Shots. Bring your inks, your stamps and I can bring some things also.

You will have loads of space to create. You can create all night long too!
Please bring your own bedding or sleeping bag, towels and toiletries, perhaps ear plugs if you are a light sleeper and a flash light if you plan or reading or journaling late at night and head phones if you plan on listening to music or watching a movies!
The meals are really good, cooked on the premises by the wonderful Timberline staff. There is always coffee, tea and water available and snacks plus you can pack your own...all for the low cost of $159

Weekend Scrapbooking Retreat April 8-10th

Come and join us for an entire weekend of scrapbooking or card making. Park your car in Deep Cove, North Vancouver, and bring your totes down to the dock, where a boat will pick us up and take us to a remote , secluded retreat on the Indian Arm. Camp Jubilee is located along the stunning Indian Arm on oceanfront property. You will share table space to scrapbook on with a friend in the main hall, where all our food will be also served. Cabins sleep up to 10 people and are fully heated with adjacent washrooms with sinks. A nearby washroom also has showers. There are also rooms available in the lodge. To reserve a room, please send a cheque to register a.s.a.p.
The weekend includes a Friday night snack, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and brunch on Sunday morning. There is a free make "n" take and fabulous & affordable, optional workshops to sign up for! Bring a friend, or a group, or just come by yourself. You are sure to have a fabulous time, doing what you love, with a great group of ladies!
The boat leaves Friday at 5:30 p.m. and gets back around 1:30 Sunday afternoon.

November is a great time to create some unique Christmas cards. We also offer a variety of Christmas- themed workshops, including 2 Christmas card workshops & a Christmas Tag workshop. Fernridge Hall is located in South Langley, in a quiet area. The hall iteself is quite quaint. There is ample room for about 40 ladies to scrapbook comfortably. Each person will share a rectangular table with a friend, and sit in a group with more friends, or by themselves- whichever you request. There are ongoing optional workshops, which you can sign up for at the time of registration. Free Make "n" Takes
Half a large rectangular table for your scrapbooking space! The tables can be set up whichever way you want, so you can sit with your friends! Done upon arrival by us.
WHAT DO I BRING?
You will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, slippers (no shoes allowed inside the hall) and all scrapbooking supplies you want!! If there is something you are not sure about bringing along, please email me with your questions! Also, if you want to bring any munchies, that is fine! There is a large refrigerator in the main hall which we can use!
HOW DO I GET THERE?
The boat will leave Deep Cove at 5:00 p.m.
We leave camp at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and return to Deep Cove around 1:30 p.m.

Camp Crop-A-Lot Spring 2009

Thank-you all for helping make our Spring Retreat such a huge success! What a great group of ladies as usual. Here are a few photos of the group and one of Jim (is that right?), Chrissy and Mitch on the boat! A big thank-you to Camp Jubilee for their wonderful service and accommodating such a large group this time.

Only 6 more sleeps!

Are you all getting really excited about our retreat next weekend?!?! I know I am sooooooooooooo excited!
Here are some last minute reminders:

1. Remember to bring bedding such as sleeping bag, pillow and sheet (if you want)

2. Slippers are a necessary item, since we have to take our shoes off at the hall where we will be scrapbooking.

3. All our meals will be included, but you are encouraged to bring some snacks for late night scrapbooking, or just to munch on throughout the day. There is a refrigerator that we are able to use, if you want to put anything into it such as drinks, etc.

4. If you are taking a workshop, you will have to supply your own adhesive for the project (I would recommend bringing glue sticks, photo squares, and or liquid fast dry adhesive, snail adhesive, if you want- basically your favourite adhesive) and your basics like a paper cutter, scoring tool, bone folder and the like.

5. The boat leaves Deep Cove at 4:15p.m.
Give yourself plenty of time to drive through rush-hour traffic to Deep Cove, and get there about 30 minutes before the boat leaves. Once in Deep Cove, you will see the water ahead of you. Turn right when you reach the end of the road, and you will see a road to the left, that you can drive down to the dock ramp. Unload your stuff ( about three cars will fit there at one time). Then you can drive back up and find parking along the road. I will give you ideas of where to park. The camp recommends finding a residential side street, since the park parking lot does not allow overnight parking. So you will have to unload your stuff, and park your cars. Don't worry- there will be lots of us, and we will have lots of hands to help 'shlepp' the stuff down the ramp and then back up the hill again to the cropping space! Let's hope the tide is high!!!
We've never had any problems with parking in the four times we've had the retreat. Don't worry!

6. Try not to bring everything- we have to fit 30 people and all our supplies into the same boat as last year!)

7. Try to eat before you come- we will not have dinner at the retreat Friday night, we will have a warm snack around 8:00 p.m.

8. If you want to bring some music cd's you can- we will have access to a radio throughout the day, and we'll plug in some chick flicks to keep us company during the night.
